Three crucial iterations.

1.) The monochromatic color scheme was being portrayed as dull, lifeless, and felt like a checkerboard.
2.) Blue was added to make icons feel more lively. A stack of credit cards replaced the scrapbook icon because it was more recognized.
3.) Users responded well to a simplified version of each icon on a larger scale with a dominant color of blue.
1.) The design layout reflected that of framed family photos on a living room wall; however, users felt that this was too cluttered. Users had a hard time identifying an album due to its small scale.
2.) I simplified the family photo concept by composing the layout based on family-style canvas prints. The selected artist is featured to the left of the screen with their albums to the right.
3.) This layout was well received for its clarity and obtained minimum adjustments; only the typography was modified.
